This series of works documents the artist's dreams throughout 2018. Under the prolonged distress of depression, the artist continually sought ways to communicate with herself, recording numerous dream fragments over the year. These were initially captured through text and drawings, with some developed into more sustained projects. The works in this series employ traditional Chinese painting materials such as rice paper, ink, and water. These pieces represent a significant positive turn in the artist's journey through illness, capturing moments of courage in her growth. On another level, they also signify a breakthrough in her artistic path, marking a pivotal shift from being a conventional student of traditional art education to a mature artist.
